My Baby

So we took my baby to his 2 month checkup Tuesday and he is doing well. He now weighs 12.10 pounds. He was doing all good. He was laying there all happy looking all cute. Then it was time for him to get his shots. The nurse came in and popped his pacifier out of his mouth and gave him some clear liquid to help him not get a fever or upset stomach. She gave him his pacifier back then she gave my baby and shot in his left thigh. He squirmed and my eyes got watery. Then she did his right thigh and he started to cry. Then I started crying! I felt so bad for him, my poor baby felt pain for the first time. I wanted to beat up that nurse for making my baby cry.
Then it makes me think of all the things hes going to go through and the pain he will feel and how I cant do much to prevent it from happening. I wish he would just stay little where I can hold him and kiss his bad dreams away. I dont want anything to happen to him. Now I know why my parents were so over-protective of me. All I can do is wait and watch him grow and hopes he will make good decisions.

I knew I didnt like Wal-Mart

I just read that a 61 year old man slapped a little girl at Wal Mart! They say the mother and 2 year old daughter were shopping, when the little girl started to cry. Then the man told the mother to shut the little girl up or he would, then he slapped the little girl 4 times! After that he said "See, I told you I would shut her up." Of course he is charged with cruelty to children but that is so crazy! When my mom told me it made me laugh (cause the way she said it) but its really sad and scary. I would beat the crap out of anyone who touched my baby. Anyways, I told my hubby now we have to go to Target(my fav. store) cause I dont want to take a chance of someone messing with my baby. Wal-Mart sucks.

TEXAS

So ive lived in Houston all my life and I love the city. Im used to houses everywhere and people making noise and all. Sunday was a whole new experience for me. Thanks to my brother in law wanting to play with his new gun, I asked my father if we could go out to his ranch to shoot it. He said yea, so we drove an hour out to the middle of no where. It was so cool there tho. He owns 25 acres of land and is building a house there. Sucky part is he gave us a "tour" and we had to walk alot. Then me and my hubby are wearing flip flops like idiots not thinking we would have to walk so much. Anyways, he showed us his horses, which are so pretty, a donkey that was following us around and then this nasty swamp that has an alligator and full of mosquito's that were biting me! Then we went back and played on the 4 wheelers and my hubby rowed himself on the boat my father has on a lake. Then it came down to business. I asked my father if we could shoot the guns and he said yea. He took us to the back and lined up some cans and water jugs and the boys started to play. And I did dye my hair Saturday. I used Garnier Fructis #51. My aunt went to cosmetology school so she did it for me and it came out really good. Smart me hasnt taken any pics cause I havent dressed up but I will so I can show the results. Im impressed and thinking of stinking to that color cause I like it alot. Oh yea, its ash brown :-) It also left my hair really really soft, as if I left the salon. I loved it.

Anyways, its almost time for me to do my workout video. I just started yesterday and im really going to try to lose weight cause man being big sucks. Im using some post natal one so it isnt like sweating all over the place hard, but the positions are tricky cause "You have to show your muscles how to fire again." Yup, all because I want to have a big party for my 21st Bday and you have to look good on your bday, so hope you all like this entry.

Work Sucks

Well, it was actually okay but I missed my baby so much. I kept thinking of all the cute faces I was missing out on. Anyways, I liked the place I was working at, everyone was dressed casual and people seemed nice, its just when I had to fill in at the front desk, I was kinda nervous cause I dont know who all the people are and I hate to page on the intercom cause I think I might sound stupid or accidentally press the wrong button. Then Thursday night my baby didnt want to go to sleep until 1am, so I stayed up with him, then Friday morning, I didnt want to go in, but my hubby got all mad saying he thought it was wrong for me to quit, its just I was so sleepy and the HR lady told me they are testing me to see if they want to hire me on full time, and I really dont want to work full time at one place. Im a temp, and I want to just float around,network and learn new skills at different places. I dont want to stay at one place, just doing the same thing wasting my time. They liked me there tho, they asked me to go back Monday,Thursday and half a day Friday, but I dont know. I want the money but, I miss my baby, and Im just lazy ;-)

Anyways, I know this post is kinda boring, but I need to practice on my writing so im making an effort to write as much as possible but it takes effort.

So, its Saturday, I dont have much planned for this weekend. I was thinking of dying my hair today, here at home of course since I dont have $180 a month to be wasting at Visible Changes anymore,maybe cleaning the guestroom and for sure BBQ hamburgers again. Tomorrow my BFF is supposed to come visit me so I look forward to that.I better get started on cleaning now before I go back to sleep and waste another day. Have a good weekend!

Just My Luck

So I was supposed to start working again on Tuesday, but Monday night I got really sick with a headache. So I laid down for a while but all my body started hurting and I had my mom come take care of the baby so my husband could take care of me. Right before she got here to my house I started to vomit like crazy. It was so nasty. My mom and hubby were scared so he took me to the hospital around 10. I kept getting dizzy and vomiting, and they did xrays on me and everything. They couldn't find what was wrong with me so they drugged me with an IV(?) and let me sleep for a little bit. That's the only thing that sucks about hospitals, while your trying to rest/sleep, they keep coming in to check up on you. It was about 2 in the morning and they woke me up to see how I felt, and I did feel better so they released me. I was SO sleepy though, that medicine was still in my body so I came home and went straight to sleep. I don't remember my mom leaving, my husband coming to bed or hearing the baby at night. I was just gone.I thought I would wake up for breakfast or something but before I knew it, it was 12 noon the same day. I was like OMG, I missed my first day of work. I emailed my boss lady and she called me back and I told her what happened. I was so happy she believed me and said they would give me another chance to start Thursday, so tomorrow is the big day again. I even went to NY&Company to buy some work clothes Monday afternoon so at least they will get some use. I only bought 2 pants and 2 blouses cause I am not staying this big! It just gross and the doctor cleared me Monday to "resume all normal activities" so I get to do my videos again. I cant wait for my baby to get a little bigger so we can do mommy and me baby yoga. So yea...all for now...time to get ready for tomorrow! :-)

My Weekend

So my weekend was alright. Friday my new phone came in. I got the LG Incite with At&t. The phone is pretty,light, and touch screen that responds to nails:-) Im having problems putting my ringtones on it tho. They have to be in a special format and only a certain length and it is so hard to text since there is no keys and you have to use a little pen if you want to use the keyboard option. I also dropped calls for the first time in my life! I try not to complain since my hubby is paying for it but ugh the signal sucks. Overall, the phone is cool with its 3 megapixel camera and microsoft office. I still liked my voyager with verizon better.
Saturday we mainly BBQed hamburgers and watched the fight. I was suprised how fast Malignaggi came out. I thought he would tire himself out but he kept a good pace going. His punches are weak tho. They are fast but no power to them. Yea he hit Diaz a couple of times in the face but it did not mess Diaz up besides cutting his eyebrow with a elbow or head. When Diaz charged, Malignaggi looked like he got beat with a bat and would stumble. The score cards did show Malignaggi threw more punched but it was by unanimous decision Diaz won! I was so happy. The Houston crowd went crazy! Malignaggi made some comments though saying "Boxing is crap" and he only does it for the money. He even said Texas does not fight fair, that the home players always win. I dont know if thats true(even tho 2 judges were from Tx) but the numbers did favor with Malignaggi. I think it was unprofessional for him to say that before the fight too, cause he probabley offended the judges and that didnt help him either. Anyways, it was a awesome fight and I believe it could of gone either way.

Today I finally learned how to make floutas and rice. It was soo good but seemed like it took all day. After cooking and cleaning it was 7 already. I finally got a chance to polish my nails while my hubby played his PS3 and my baby was sleeping.Now its 11 and it seems like hes going to be up tonight. 1 more hour and my weekend is over.

About time/BAD

Its been about 3 weeks and we finally got our ac fixed. It took 3 weeks to get this little circuit board in, then after it was in, turns out the motor was messed up. Me and my hubby were starting to lose hope that we would have to wait again for another part, but our ac man got a hold of the part needed and fixed it. We were so relieved. We have been staying in our main bedroom since we have a window unit, and it just sucks being in here all day and night. But since its up and running we plan to BBQ this weekend and invite family over to watch the fight. Oh yes, Juan Diaz vs. Paulie Malignaggi. Im nervous about watching this one cause Diaz has lost two fights and his titles. Its like he loses all his concentration when he knows im not watching :-) But hopefully, he will come through and knock out Malignaggi. I cant wait to watch it!

Also, today was my first full day without a cell phone! Ive had a cell since 6th grade then yesterday, my dad just cut me off. No more verizon :-( Im waiting for my AT&T phone to come in tomorrow. Then my mean hubby comes in the room yesterday and was like "Ahh, where are the 8 million people behind you now". Sad but true, the best network is no longer with me. I hate that verizon is so expensive, but it seriously has the best signal out there. I cant wait to go back to them. Well I feel really bad, I think im getting the flu, hopefully not the swine flu, so im going to pop some tylenol and try to crash out. Nite nite.
